Wega Steel Evolution

Wega Steel Evolution is over at A-145 in the Ghat Kopar Industrial Estate. We’re right off L.B.S. Marg, so the location is pretty convenient once you get past the morning traffic. The estate is a huge place with all sorts of businesses, and we’ve been part of it for a good stretch of time. Our workshop is where all the action happens. It’s loud and busy, especially when the machines are running full tilt during a big order. We handle various steel fabrication tasks, which means a lot of welding, cutting, and grinding. It’s a practical, no-nonsense environment. The floor is usually covered in scrap bits and metal shavings until we sweep up at the end of the shift. We don’t have a fancy office for meetings; we usually just talk to people right there on the shop floor. It’s easier that way to show what we’re actually working on. Sometimes things get behind schedule if a machine breaks down or a part is missing, but we just work a bit later to catch up. We aren't interested in sounding corporate or using big words. We just know how to work with steel and that’s what we do every day. The air is always a bit heavy with the smell of grease and burnt metal, but it feels like home to us. We’re just a regular bunch of guys doing a job.
