Our workshop, Ashutosh Titanium Basket Equipments, is on the ground floor of No. 6 Bharat Industrial Estate in Goregaon East. We’re right near Sharma Estate, so it’s easy enough to find if you’re familiar with the area. We specialize in making titanium baskets and similar industrial equipment. Titanium is a tough material to work with, but that’s what we do every day. The ground floor spot is good because the equipment we make is heavy. We don't have to worry about stairs. The workshop is usually full of the sound of metal being cut or welded. It’s a busy environment. We don’t have a proper lobby or a place for people to wait. Usually, if a customer comes by, we just talk to them right there on the shop floor. We’re often wearing our safety masks or gloves. It’s a practical business. We’ve been in Goregaon for quite a while now. We’ve seen the area change, but our little corner in Bharat Industrial Estate stays pretty much the same. We don’t use any fancy sales talk. We just show the baskets we’ve made and explain how they’re built. It’s not about being the biggest company, just about doing the job right so the equipment doesn’t fail when it’s being used. Sometimes the monsoon makes the estate a bit of a mess with all the puddles, but we keep the work going. It’s just what we do.
