Great Metal Corporation

Our shop, Great Metal Corporation, is on the first floor at Gala No. 4 in the Rodrigues Compound. We are tucked away on Hari Masjid Lane which is right next to the Badru Complex in Sakinaka. If you’ve ever been to this part of Andheri, you know Sakinaka is one of those places that never really sleeps. The lane is quite narrow and there is always some truck or tempo trying to squeeze past the parked bikes. Being on the first floor gives us a bit of a view of the street but it’s mostly just roofs and hanging wires. We handle a lot of metal stuff here and the floor is usually covered in scraps and shavings by the end of a long shift. It’s a practical space for work, nothing fancy at all. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint but we are always too busy with the orders to worry about that. Next to Badru Complex is where most people find us if they get lost. We have been in this spot for a long time now and the locals know the sounds coming from our gala. It gets really loud when the metal sheets are being moved around the room. We have a small desk for paperwork but most of the action happens on the floor. Khairani Road is always packed so we try to get our deliveries done very early in the day.
