Bombay Metal House

Bombay Metal House is located at No. 17 Nakhuda Street, inside Madina Manzil. We are right opposite Beg Mohammad Bagh in the Pydhonie area. If you know Pydhonie, you know how packed and narrow the streets can get, especially Nakhuda Street during the middle of the day. Our place is basically a warehouse filled with different types of metal stocks. It smells like iron and dust in here, which is pretty normal for this kind of work. The building, Madina Manzil, is an old one, and it has a lot of character even if the walls are a bit stained from years of use. We spend a lot of our time moving heavy pieces around and measuring things for people who come in. It is physically demanding work, and by the end of the day, our clothes are usually pretty dirty and worn out. Opposite us, the bagh gives a bit of a landmark, but the traffic on the street is so heavy that you barely notice it most of the time. We have a small corner with an old table where we sit down to talk to people and figure out what they need. There is no air conditioning here, just a few old ceiling fans that struggle against the heat in the summer months. We have been here long enough that the local loaders and drivers all know us by name. It is a gritty, honest place where we handle metal every single day.
