Webchutney

We’ve been here in Malad West for a while now. It’s a busy part of Mumbai, as anyone who lives here knows. Our office isn’t anything fancy, just a space where we get together and try to get things done every day. Sometimes the commute is a bit of a headache with the traffic around Malad, but we make it work. Most of us have been around this area for years, so we know the local spots for tea or a quick bite during breaks. We don’t really go for that big corporate vibe because that’s just not who we are. It’s mostly just us sitting around our desks, figuring out the work as it comes in. We like being based in Mumbai; there's an energy here that you don't get elsewhere, even when it's raining cats and dogs and the streets are a mess. People walk in, we have our meetings, and we try to stay on top of the schedule. There isn't a massive philosophy behind what we do. We just come in, open up the office, and stay until the work is finished for the evening. It’s a practical setup. We know the neighbors, and we’ve seen the neighborhood change quite a bit over the years. Webchutney is just a part of this local landscape now. It’s simple, it’s a bit noisy outside sometimes, but it’s our home base and we’re comfortable with how things run here day to day. It is how we have always done things here.
