Wagh Bakri

You can find us at Wagh Bakri on Hanuman Road in J B Nagar, which is part of Vile Parle. It’s a busy little area, and we’re right in the middle of it. Mostly, we deal with tea. People come in to pick up their supplies or just to see what we have on the shelves. It’s not a complicated business. We have our regular hours and we stick to them. The shop gets a bit dusty because of all the traffic on Hanuman Road, so we’re always dusting things off. It feels like a neighborhood spot because we see the same faces every week. We don't have a big mission statement or anything. We just sell tea and talk to the people who walk through the door. Sometimes the delivery trucks block the street for a minute while they unload, which can be a bit of a pain for the neighbors. We try to be quick about it. The staff is just a few local people who know the products well enough to help out. Vile Parle is a fast-moving place, but inside the shop, things are a bit more steady. We spend a lot of time organizing boxes and making sure everything is in its place. It’s just a normal job for us. We open the doors, serve the customers, and go home at the end of the day. It's just a regular shop on Hanuman Road.
