Mocha Mojo

Mocha Mojo is tucked away in Aksa Village. If you follow Madh Marve Road in Malad West, you will eventually find us. We are located at the address of Mrs. Malti Sathish Mahtre. This part of Mumbai feels very different from the rest of the city. It is much slower and has a bit of a coastal vibe because the beach is so close. We are not a high-end cafe with marble floors. It is a more relaxed, local spot where you can hear the birds and sometimes the sea. The building is simple and reflects the village surroundings. We have a few tables and chairs where people can just sit and take a break. It gets a bit humid here, but the breeze usually helps. Mrs. Mahtre is often around, and the whole place has a very personal feel to it. We don't have a big staff or a corporate structure. It is just a small operation that serves the people who live nearby or the visitors who come to the beach on weekends. Sometimes we run out of things and have to wait for the next delivery to come down the narrow road. It is just the way things are in Aksa. We like the quietness of it. It is a good place to just be for a while without any pressure. We just keep it simple and keep the lights on.
