Cafe Moshe

You can find us down in Colaba, over at M.E.S Block 9/2. Being in Old Navy Nagar means it’s a bit different than the rest of the city. It’s a bit quieter down here, and we like that. Cafe Moshe has been sitting here for a bit now, serving people who live nearby or those who wander down this way. We don't have a big neon sign or anything like that. It’s just a place to sit and grab something. The kitchen is usually humming, and there’s always the smell of something cooking in the air. We keep things pretty simple. Some days it's packed, other times it’s just a few regulars reading the paper. We know most of the faces that come through the door. Colaba has its own rhythm, and we’re just a small part of it. The 400005 area is home to us. We don’t really go in for those trendy decorations you see in the mall cafes. We just have our tables and chairs and we try to keep the place clean. It gets a bit hot in the afternoons, but the fans keep things moving. If you’re ever near the Navy Nagar side, you’ll probably see us. We’re just working, making sure the food is ready and the coffee is hot. It’s a decent life here in this corner of Mumbai. We don't make a big fuss about things, we just open the doors and get started.
