Waaree Instruments Ltd is up on the 8th floor of the building at 8B Borivali East, Tilak Road. Being that high up means waiting for the elevator a lot, but it’s a good place once you get there. We work with all sorts of instruments and measuring tools that factories use. The office is more like a workshop than a business suite. Workbenches with tools and half-opened devices are scattered around. It is a very specific kind of work that requires a lot of patience. Having been in Borivali for a long time, we like the neighborhood. Down on Tilak Road, it is always busy with people shopping and cars honking. Up here, it’s a bit quieter, which helps when you are trying to calibrate something small. Flashy brochures and a dedicated sales team aren't things we have. Most of our work comes from people who have used our stuff before and know it works. Sometimes shipments from suppliers get delayed, and we have to shuffle our schedule around. That is just the way things are. We aren't a big, cold company; we are just a bunch of people who are good with their hands and understand how these machines tick. The office can get a bit stuffy in the afternoons, but we just open a window and keep going until the day’s work is done.
