You can find us over at No. 2/3 in the Modern Estate, right by the KD Junction in Gautam Nagar. Being in Govandi West means things are always moving fast, and there is always a lot of noise from the traffic and other shops nearby. Our day usually starts pretty early, getting the machines warmed up for whatever structural work is on the schedule. We deal with a lot of iron and steel, so there is usually the smell of metal and a few sparks flying around the workshop. It is heavy work, and by the end of the day, our clothes are usually covered in grease or dust, but that is the nature of the job. We don’t do much fancy talking here; we just look at the drawings, grab the tools, and get to welding or cutting. People from around the estate stop by when they need something sturdy built or if they have a frame that needs fixing up. We have been in this spot for a while, so we know the local rhythm and how to get things moved through the narrow lanes when a delivery comes in. It is not a glamorous setup, but we have all the gear we need to get the structures put together right. We mostly focus on making sure the joints are strong and the measurements are exactly what the client asked for before anything leaves the shop floor.
