Our office is way up on the tenth floor of the Raheja Centre. We are at 1006, right on Free Press Road in Nariman Point. If you look out the window on a clear day, the view is actually okay, though we’re usually too busy to notice. Being in Nariman Point means we are right in the thick of things. Vishal Beverages is a small team working in a big corporate building. We spend our time dealing with beverage distribution and talking to retailers. The office is pretty standard—desks, a water cooler, and lots of folders. The commute is the hardest part for most of us, especially with the Mumbai traffic. Once we’re here, it’s all about coordinating trucks and checking production numbers. We aren't fancy people. We wear regular clothes and drink too much coffee. Sometimes the building's elevators are a nightmare in the morning, so we learn to be patient. We don’t have a mission statement on the wall or anything like that. We just want to make sure the crates get delivered and the accounts are balanced. It’s a fast-paced environment, but we try to keep it grounded. We’ve been in this building for a while now, and we know the tea stall guy downstairs better than some of our neighbors. It’s just our daily grind in the heart of the city, keeping everyone's favorite drinks moving from the warehouse to the shop shelves.
