Our office is located in Powai, right on the third floor of Shanti Sadan Co-operative Housing Society. It’s Flat Number 5, so it feels more like a home-turned-office than a big corporate center. We are directly opposite the main gate of IIT, so there is always a lot of activity with students and buses coming and going. Powai Hospital is also just a short walk away. Being in a housing society means it’s a bit quieter once you get inside the building, away from the main road bustle. We have our desks set up in the main room, and there are files everywhere you look. It’s a comfortable enough spot to spend the day. We don't have any fancy decorations, just the things we need to get our work done. Most of the time, we are busy with paperwork or typing away at the keyboards. The view out the window is mostly of the IIT campus trees and the traffic on the main road. It’s a nice area to be in, and there are plenty of places to grab a sandwich or some chai during our break. We have been here for a while and the routine is pretty set. We come in, check the mail, and get started on whatever needs doing. It’s a very practical way to work, and we don't see a reason to change much about it. It is just a regular day-to-day operation in a busy part of Mumbai.
