We work out of the GIDC Industrial Estate in Powai. Specifically, we are at Plot No 1, An House, at D/2. Being in an industrial area like this means there is always a lot of heavy lifting and trucks moving around the yard. We spend our days packing up people's belongings into boxes and loading them onto the trucks. It is hard work and things can get a bit dusty around the warehouse. We go through a lot of tape and bubble wrap every week. The warehouse space is where we keep all our moving supplies. It isn't a fancy office at all. We just have some wooden benches and a small metal desk where we keep the logs of who is going where. Most of our time is spent out on actual jobs, moving furniture and boxes from one house to another. We have seen all sorts of homes over the years. Some people have way too many things. We just try to pack everything so nothing gets broken during the drive. It is a lot of carrying stuff up and down stairs. The weather in Powai gets very humid, which makes the lifting even tougher. We usually start very early in the morning before the sun gets too high. We know the roads in this estate pretty well. Sometimes people find it hard to locate us because the buildings look similar.
