Our home base is at 11 Sakinaka, right across from the BMC school. If you know the Sakinaka area, you know how the traffic can get, especially when the school lets out and the buses are everywhere. Our spot is usually filled with stacks of cardboard boxes and big rolls of bubble wrap. We have trucks coming in and out at odd hours, so there is always a bit of noise around the gate. The office itself is just a small room with a couple of desks and a lot of clipboards hanging on the wall. We spend most of the day coordinating moves and making sure the guys have the right supplies for the next job. It’s not the cleanest place in the world because of all the packing materials and the dust from the street, but it works for what we need. We have a small fridge in the corner for cold water, which is a lifesaver during the hot months. The floor is concrete and has a few cracks in it from moving heavy crates around over the years. We don't have a fancy sign, just the address and our name. Most people find us because they see our trucks or live in the neighborhood. It’s a busy, gritty kind of business, and we are usually too busy working to worry about how the office looks. We just focus on getting the boxes packed and moved to where they need to go.
