D Mariya Packers & Movers operates out of 8 Harianwala Lane, inside the Soma Kanji Estate 2 on the ground floor. Being on the ground floor is pretty much a requirement for what we do because of all the heavy boxes and moving equipment. Harianwala Lane is one of those spots that stays busy from early morning until late at night. We’ve got our trucks parked nearby and the office is where the main planning happens. Soma Kanji Estate is a hub for a lot of small businesses, so there is a lot of loading and unloading going on all the time. Our space is filled with packing materials, tape, and wooden crates. It might look a bit cluttered to an outsider, but we know exactly where everything is. Moving people's belongings is a serious task, so we spend a lot of time double-checking our lists and schedules. We don't use a lot of fancy words to describe what we do. We just pack things up, put them in the truck, and move them to the next place. It’s a lot of physical work and logistics. The staff is usually coming and going throughout the day. We’ve been in this location long enough to know the shortcut through the lanes to avoid the worst traffic. It’s a gritty, hardworking environment and that suits us just fine. We just focus on getting the boxes from point A to point B without any trouble.
