Vikshree Computers

Working on computers all day at 6 Grant Road is what we do. The shop is right opposite Jyoti Studio, which is a landmark most people in the area know well. Vikshree Computers isn’t a big corporate office; it’s more of a place where cables are hanging and there are always a few monitors sitting on the counter. I spend most of my time looking at screens or opening up towers to see what’s wrong. The street outside is always busy, and you can hear the horns from Grant Road all day long. We have a few desks where we work, and the back is piled with spare parts and old keyboards. It’s a bit of a mess sometimes, but I know exactly where the right screw or cable is hidden. People bring in their laptops when they stop working or when they need something updated. It’s practical work. We don't spend money on fancy decorations because the equipment takes up all the space. In the afternoon, the sun hits the front of the building and it gets quite warm inside. I usually keep a fan running near my feet while I work. It’s been our spot for a good while, and we’ve seen all kinds of tech come and go through these doors. We just keep at it, one repair at a time, until the shutters go down for the night. We aren't trying to be anything other than a local repair and parts shop.
