V. K. Enterprises

Our office is in the Sahyadri Society, right near the Dhobi Ghat pipe line in Asalpha Village, Ghatkopar West. It’s a bit of a climb to get up here, but it’s a good neighborhood. The building is older, and you can see the history in the walls and the stairwells. We have a small room where we keep our files and take care of all the business. There’s a big window that looks out towards the village, and I spend a fair bit of time looking out at the rain when the monsoon hits. It’s a busy little spot. We mostly deal with various supplies and paperwork for different clients. The desk is always covered in papers, pens, and a few old diaries. We don’t have a fancy computer setup or anything like that. Just the basics to get the job done. I usually make my own tea in the corner on a small stove. The sounds of the village come in through the door—kids playing, people talking, and the occasional motorbike zooming past. It’s not the quietest place to work, but it feels like home. We’ve been in Ghatkopar for a long time, so we know the local shops and the people around here. It’s a simple operation. We aren't trying to be some big corporation. We just want to do our work properly and keep things moving. Most days, we’re just happy to get through the to-do list before it gets dark.
