Vikrant Metals

Vikrant Metals is over at 59/61 in Girgaon. We have been at this address for quite some time now. Girgaon is a tight neighborhood, everything is close together. Our space is mostly filled with stock and tools. It gets a bit dusty with all the metal around, but that is part of the trade. We don't have a fancy showroom or anything like that. People usually just drop by the shop floor if they need something. The building is old, like most things around here, but it holds up. I usually start early in the morning before the streets get too crowded with cars and bikes. It can be hard to find parking near 59/61, so most people just walk over from the nearby lanes. We do a lot of heavy lifting during the day. Sometimes the noise from the machines makes it hard to hear the phone. If we don't pick up right away, that is why. It is just a few of us working here. We keep it straightforward. There is no front desk person, so whoever is closest to the door usually says hello. It is a honest way to spend the day. Girgaon has a lot of history, and we are glad to be a small part of it. The rain sometimes leaks a bit near the back door, but we just put a bucket down. It’s just the way things are in an old shop.
