Vikman Steel Ball Industries

We run Vikman Steel Ball Industries from 8, Ali Chambers on Tamarind Lane. Being in the Fort area means we are right in the middle of a very old and busy part of the city. Ali Chambers has a lot of history, and we are just one part of it now. We deal with steel balls, which sounds like a simple thing, but there is actually a lot of work that goes into getting them right. We don't have a big, shiny office. It is more of a practical place where we keep our records and talk to people who need our products. Tamarind Lane is narrow and can be a bit of a squeeze, but that is just how Fort is. We like being here because of the energy of the area. We aren't the kind of people who use big corporate buzzwords. We just talk like regular folks. Some days are stressful when shipments are late or the phone won't stop ringing, but we manage. We’ve been doing this long enough to not get rattled by the small stuff. We focus on the product and making sure it gets to where it needs to go. It’s a small operation in a big city. We aren't trying to impress anyone with fancy talk.
