You’ll find Vijesh Metal India down in Kumbharwada at 159. If you know the area, you know it’s always packed with people and trucks. It is a tight squeeze around here, but we manage. We’ve been operating out of this spot for years. Most of our day is spent moving metal pieces around and talking to customers who walk in. It’s a bit messy, to be honest. Metal scraps and sheets are everywhere. We don’t have a fancy showroom. It’s a working shop where things get done. The guys working here are used to the heat and the heavy lifting. We drink a lot of water and keep the fans going. Sometimes we have to hunt through the stacks to find exactly what a customer asked for. It takes time. We don’t really use fancy software for the inventory; it’s mostly in our heads or on a notepad. People around here know us as the place to get metal without any fuss. The neighborhood is loud, with all the other shops doing similar work, but we like the energy. We don’t do much advertising. People just find us by word of mouth or by walking past. It's a simple setup. We open the shutters early and close them when the sun goes down. It’s hard work, but it’s what we know how to do best in this little corner of Kumbharwada. Every day is a bit different, depending on what the scrap market is doing.
