Vijay Traders

Vijay Traders is located right on Kasturba Road No 6 in Borivali East. If you know the area, you probably know the Saikrupa Masala Floor Mills; we are just about three doors down from there. It’s a busy part of the neighborhood, and you can often smell the spices being ground next door, which isn't a bad thing at all. Our place is pretty straightforward. We deal with trading various goods and have been doing it from this same spot for a long time. The street outside is usually full of traffic, people rushing to the station or heading home after work. Inside, it’s a bit more quiet, mostly filled with stacks of whatever we are moving that week. We don’t really do much in the way of decoration or fancy displays. It is a workspace first and foremost. Sometimes the delivery trucks have a hard time finding a spot to pull over because the road is so narrow, but we always figure it out. Being in Borivali East means we see a lot of the same regular customers and business neighbors every single day. It feels like a small community even though it’s a huge city. We just keep our heads down and get the work done. If you ever walk past the flour mill and see someone hauling crates, that is probably us. We’ve grown used to the noise and the pace of the street.
