We are located at 192 Lamington Road. If you know Mumbai, you know this street is always packed with people looking for electronics and parts. Symco Sales Pvt Ltd has been here for a good bit of time. It is a small space, mostly filled with boxes and things waiting to be moved. The dust from the street comes in sometimes, but that’s just how Lamington Road is. We open up the shutters every morning and get things ready. It’s a lot of manual work. We talk to people all day. Some are regular customers and some just wander in off the street. We aren't trying to be anything we aren't. It's just a sales office. 192 is a solid old building. It has character, I guess you could say. We don't have fancy furniture or a coffee machine that makes fancy lattes. We just have a kettle and some desks. The phone rings a lot. Sometimes the internet is slow, but we manage. Being in this part of the city means there is always noise. You hear the horns and the shouting outside. It keeps us awake. We don't use big words or have meetings about our goals. We just sell what needs selling and go home at the end of the day. It’s a simple life at Symco Sales Pvt Ltd. We know the tea seller nearby and the other shop owners. It’s a community of sorts, even if it’s a bit messy.
