Vidhi Forging & Steel Industry

We’ve been operating Vidhi Forging & Steel Industry out of Mazgaon at PH 54 for quite some time now. It’s a loud place, mostly because of the heavy hammers and the sound of steel hitting steel all day long. If you come by, you’ll probably see a lot of smoke and hear the machines running from down the block. We don’t have a fancy office or a receptionist to greet people. Usually, someone just wipes their hands on a rag and comes over to talk to you. The floor is always a bit dusty and there are piles of metal scraps in the corners. Mazgaon is a busy area with a lot of industrial stuff going on, so we fit right in here. We deal with forging, which is just heating up metal and shaping it into what’s needed. It’s hot work, especially in the summer months when the air inside the shop feels like it’s boiling. We aren't trying to be the biggest shop around, we just want to get the orders done so we can head home. Sometimes the deliveries are late because of the traffic around the port, but that’s just how it goes living in this part of town. We keep our tools organized as best as we can, though things get messy fast when we are busy. It’s just us doing what we know how to do with steel and fire. We are usually here early and leave late.
