Victor Steel Corporation

Victor Steel Corporation is located in the Somji Building. We are at 437 Charni Road, right across from Islampura Street. It is a busy area with a lot of traffic and people moving about. Our place is mostly filled with steel products. It’s heavy work, and the floor shows it. There are scratches and marks everywhere. We have been here for a good number of years. The office part is just a small corner with a couple of old desks and a filing cabinet that sticks. We spend most of our time dealing with the metal and the deliveries. Charni Road is always loud, so you get used to the noise of the city pretty fast. The Somji Building is an old one, but it holds up well for what we do. We don't have any fancy decorations. Just some calendars on the wall and a lot of samples. People come by to talk about sizes and weights. We do our best to keep things sorted, but it's steel, so it's not always neat. Our staff is used to the heavy lifting. We have a small break area where we sit when things quiet down for a bit. It’s not a glamorous job, but it’s what we know. We aren't interested in making it sound like something it isn't. We just trade in steel and keep the business going day by day. There's always a thin layer of iron dust on the windowsills.
