Versova Cool Cab & Taxi Service is run from our place in Andheri West. We are over in B/3/10. It is a simple setup for a taxi service. We don't have a massive fleet parked in a giant lot; it is more about the drivers and the cars being out on the road. Andheri is a huge area, and we spend most of our time navigating through the local traffic. Being based in Versova means we are close to the coast. You can often smell the salt in the air on some days. We handle bookings and talk to customers who need a ride across town. It is a straightforward business. We don't have any fancy apps or high-tech gadgets, just a phone and a logbook. Most of our work comes from people in the neighborhood who know where to find us. The building we are in is just a standard residential block. Sometimes it is hard for people to find the right door, but once they do, we are there to help. We know the shortcuts and the times when the traffic is at its worst. Driving a cab in Mumbai is a tough job, but it is what we do. We don't try to make it sound better than it is. It is about getting people from one point to another safely. We keep our cars running and our eyes on the road. That is about it.
