It’s a landmark everyone in the neighborhood knows. The road is always full of cars and people walking to the temple for prayers. Our shop isn't very large, but it’s been here for quite some time now. We open up early and stay until the evening. It’s a simple place with just the basics. People stop by on their way to or from the mandir. The atmosphere around here is quite lively because of all the devotees and the local markets. We don't have any big advertisements or glowing signs. The name is just there on the front of the shop. Mr Vishwanath Tukaram Gawanea is usually around handling things personally. It’s the kind of place where you know your neighbors and the regular customers. Sometimes it gets a bit dusty with all the traffic on J. Shankar Sheth Road, but we keep the shop tidy as best we can. There isn't a lot of extra space, so we have to stay organized. It’s a very honest way to work. We just take things one day at a time. The sound of the temple bells is a nice part of our daily routine. It’s a good, central spot and we’ve become a small part of the local scenery.
