We operate out of the Wayward Building, specifically at B-8 on Sitadevi Temple Road. Renting out cars means we spend a lot of time in the parking lot or cleaning out interiors after a trip. The road outside can get very busy because of the temple, so moving cars in and out is sometimes a bit of a puzzle. We have a small office where we keep all the keys and the logbooks. It’s nothing special, just some chairs and a desk that’s seen better days. We spend a lot of our time on the phone coordinating with drivers or checking when a vehicle is coming back. Maintenance is a big part of the job, so someone is always checking the oil or the tires. It’s a lot of dirty work that people don't see. We don't have a fleet of hundreds of cars, just a few that we try to keep in decent shape. Sometimes a customer brings a car back late and it throws off the whole schedule, which can be frustrating. We just try to manage it as best as we can. The building itself is easy to find if you know the temple area. We’ve been here for a while and know most of the local shopkeepers. It’s a straightforward business, no big secrets to it. We just provide a car when someone needs one and hope the traffic isn't too bad for them. We also spend time scrubbing the floor because people track in mud from the temple road.
