Vedanta Group

We are based out of the CGS Colony in Antop Hill. It is a busy part of the city, and our office is in Room 329, up in Building 14 of Sector 7. It is a government colony area, so it has got that specific feel to it—lots of people moving around and a real sense of a working neighborhood. We handle various parts of the Vedanta Group operations from this small space. It is not a corporate skyscraper or anything like that. Just a room where we get the work done. The hallways can be a bit narrow and it gets hot in the afternoons, but we have got our fans going to keep us cool. We spend a lot of time on the phone and checking files. It is a lot of administrative work, making sure things align with the bigger projects the company has going on. Being in Antop Hill puts us right in the middle of things. You see the same faces every day, which is nice. We do not really do fancy meetings. Usually, if someone needs to talk, we just sit down and get to it. The paperwork piles up, but we stay on top of it. It is just us doing our jobs in a regular part of Mumbai. We have been here for a while and we know the routine. It is practical, it is local, and it works for what we need to accomplish every day. No frills, just steady work. We just keep our heads down.
