V.Arjoon

We are located in the Hafizain Building over in the Masjid area of Mumbai. It’s on the third floor. If you know Mumbai, you know how crowded and busy Masjid can be. It’s a hub of trade and movement. Our office has been part of this neighborhood for a long time. V. Arjoon is basically a small team working hard every day. We don't have a big corporate setup. It’s just us and the work. Most of the day is spent handling documents for shipping. There is always a pile of papers to go through. We deal with the local markets and the ports. It’s noisy outside with all the loaders and the carts, but that’s just how it is here. We like being in the middle of it. When someone brings us a job, we just get on with it. There’s no script we follow, we just use our common sense and what we’ve learned over the years. Sometimes things go wrong, a truck breaks down or a container is late, and we have to fix it. We don't make excuses, we just try to find a solution. The stairs up to the third floor keep us fit, I guess. It’s a plain office where we do honest work. We know most of our neighbors and the people at the customs office. It feels like a community. We just keep doing our bit to keep the trade moving through Mumbai. This is what we have been doing here for quite a while.
