Our office is over in Loha Bhawan, room 201, right on Pd Mello Road in Masjid East. It is a busy part of the city, especially with all the movement near the port. We spend most of our day dealing with papers and talking to drivers or people down at the docks. The building itself has been here for years, and you can feel the history of the trade in the hallways. We mostly handle the logistical side of things, making sure stuff gets where it needs to go without too many hiccups. It’s a lot of phone calls and checking schedules. Sometimes the computers act up, or the traffic on the road outside makes everything move a bit slower than we’d like. We have a small team here. We sit at our desks, surrounded by files and tea cups. It’s not a quiet place, but that’s just how it is in this neighborhood. We know the other folks in the building well. If someone needs a hand with a form or a bit of advice on a route, we talk it out. We don’t do big presentations. Most of the work is just keeping track of things on the move. When the sun goes down, the street stays busy, and we’re usually finishing up the last bits of paperwork for the day. It’s honest work, and we just keep at it day after day from this little corner of the city. We don't have a lot of space, but we get things done.
