Our office is located at Unit No. 501 on the 5th floor of Ackruti Star in Gautam Nagar. This is right in the middle of the MIDC area in Andheri East. If you know Andheri, you know how hectic it gets with all the traffic and the people everywhere. The building is one of those modern glass ones, but once you get inside our unit, it’s just a lot of desks and people talking on phones. We are Gati Ltd., and we’ve been here for a bit. Being on the 5th floor gives us a bit of a view of the chaos below. It’s a lot of coordinating transport and making sure things get from one place to another. There’s always someone coming in with a document or a query about a delivery. It gets pretty loud during the day because there is so much going on. We have coffee from the machine and just keep pushing through the pile of work. MIDC is a good spot for this kind of thing because everything is connected, even if the roads are always dug up for some reason. It’s a fast-paced environment and we don’t really have time for much else. We just focus on the logistics and the schedules. It’s a lot of screen time and logistics planning every single day. We spend hours looking at manifests and routes to keep things moving.
