7 Dirty Fellows Productions is based here in Mumbai, mostly because this is where everything happens in our line of work. We don't have a massive studio with a big sign out front. Instead, we work out of a space that is often filled with cables, cameras, and half-empty coffee cups. The name usually makes people ask questions, but it's just something that stuck when we first started out. Being in Mumbai means we are always dealing with the noise and the pace of the city, which can be exhausting but it also keeps us moving. Our days are never really standard. Sometimes we are up before the sun to get to a location, and other times we are still sitting in front of monitors late at night trying to get a cut right. It is a bit of a messy process, to be honest. There is always someone shouting about a lens or a deadline. We don't really do the whole corporate suit thing. Most of us just wear jeans and t-shirts and try to get the job done without too much fuss. We've had some long nights where we just order pizza and keep going until the work is finished. It is a small team and we have all known each other for a long time now. We just like making things and seeing them come together in the end, even if the process is a bit chaotic and loud.
