Greatship India Ltd.

Working at Greatship India Ltd. means heading up to the 23rd floor every morning. We are in Tower No. 3 of the India Bulls Finance Center in Elphinston. The elevators usually take a minute because so many people work in this building. It’s a big place, very different from the smaller shops on the street level. We deal with ships and offshore stuff, which sounds more exciting than it looks when you're just staring at a computer screen all day. Our office is usually quiet, just the sound of typing and the occasional phone call. Being up so high, you get a view, though we mostly focus on the charts and logistics. It’s a lot of coordination with people out at sea or at the ports. We’ve been here in this tower for a while. The neighborhood is always moving, especially around the station. Sometimes we grab lunch at the stalls nearby when we have the time. It’s a professional environment but we’re just regular people trying to keep things organized. Shipping is a complicated business with many moving parts, so we spend most of our hours just making sure things are where they need to be. It’s steady work. We don't have a big lobby or anything like that, just our workspace where the team gets things done. It feels good to be part of the bustle in Elphinston.
