V G Maid

My office for V G Maid is located in Room 11 on the second floor of Dedhia Niwas. This is in the Chuna Bhatti area, which is a very local neighborhood with lots of families. I started this because I noticed many people around here were looking for help with their housework. We do not have a big staff or a fancy reception area. It is just a simple room where I meet with people who need assistance and women who are looking for work. We talk about what kind of help is needed, whether it is cleaning or cooking or looking after kids. It takes a lot of time to match the right person with the right house. Sometimes it works out perfectly and other times we have to try again. The building is old and the stairs are a bit steep. There is always the sound of the trains nearby because the station is not far away. I spend my days coordinating between different homes and making sure everyone is okay with their arrangements. It is a lot of talking on my mobile phone. I keep all my records in a few notebooks that I carry around. It is not a corporate setup at all, just a local person trying to help other local people find what they need. Most of my business comes from word of mouth.
