Uttam Fabrication

Uttam Fabrication is tucked away in 23, Anis Compound. If you know the area, it’s on the 1st Lane, right across from the Municipal School on the Andheri Ghatkopar Link Road in Saki Naka. It’s a busy, loud part of town with trucks and people everywhere. Our shop is usually filled with the sound of tools and metal being moved around. It’s a bit messy sometimes, but that’s how fabrication goes when you’re actually working. We started out small and we’ve stayed that way, mostly because we like being able to oversee everything ourselves. We aren't into the corporate way of doing things. We just talk to people plainly and tell them what we can do. Some days the traffic on the Link Road makes it hard to get deliveries in on time, which is frustrating, but we manage. The guys in the shop know their stuff and they’ve been doing it for years. We don't have a fancy website or a sales team. It’s just us here in the compound, getting our hands dirty and making sure the parts we make are solid. It’s a tough environment sometimes with the heat and the noise, but we wouldn’t have it any other way. We just keep working through the pile of jobs we have, one after the other, until the day is done. It is hard work, but we are used to the pace of Saki Naka.
