United Scrap Trading Company

United Scrap Trading Company is right in the middle of the hustle in Andheri East. We’re at Shop No 2, Nasimullah House, which is on the Andheri Kurla Road. It’s a very busy spot, especially being Marol Naka and right opposite the Star Plus office. There is constant traffic and people moving around at all hours. Our shop is small but we make the most of the space we have. Mumbai is like that—you have to use every inch you’ve got. We deal with a lot of scrap metal and other materials, so the shop often looks quite full. We’ve been in this building for a while, and we’ve seen the whole Marol Naka area transform with the metro and everything. It’s a noisy place to work with the horns honking outside and the crowds, but it’s where the business is. We don't have a fancy reception area or anything like that. You just walk in and talk to whoever is behind the counter. We spend our time checking weights and talking to vendors. It’s a fast-paced environment, and we have to stay on our toes to keep things moving. We don't do much in terms of promotion. Most people find us because they’re in Andheri for work or they live nearby and see our sign every day. It’s just a regular trading business in a very busy part of the city.
