We’ve been based here at the Sapt building for quite some time now. Our office is on the first floor, right in the middle of Ballard Estate on J. N. Heredia Marg. It’s an old part of the city but it has its own rhythm. United Liner Agencies Of India Pvt. Ltd. has its desks and files all set up here. The mornings usually start with the sound of the street waking up outside. It gets a bit noisy with the trucks and cars, but you get used to it after a week or two. Inside, it’s mostly just the sound of keyboards and people talking on the phone. We don’t have any flashy decorations or anything like that. It’s just a practical space where we can sit down and do what needs to be done. Sometimes the lift is a bit moody, so we just take the stairs to the first floor. It’s good exercise anyway. The walls are filled with old charts and some calendars that might be out of date. We handle all the agency stuff from these desks. There are a few small eateries around the corner where we usually grab lunch. It’s a simple setup really. Just a group of us trying to keep things moving. Nothing too complicated or formal about how we run things here. We just show up, do the work, and go home like everyone else does in this part of town.
