If you find yourself near Alankar Cinema, you’re pretty much right next to us. We’re located at 52/52A, Islampura Street. It’s a busy part of town, and the streets are always full of people. Our place, Unisteel Engg Co. Pvt. Ltd., has been part of this street for a long time. You can hear the sounds of the city through our front door all day long. The office isn’t anything special to look at, just desks, chairs, and a lot of paper. We have a few guys who have been here since they were young. They know every corner of this place. The street outside can get a bit messy, especially when it rains and the water collects near the entrance. We keep a bucket near the door for umbrellas so the floor doesn't get too slippery. It’s a practical setup. We don't spend money on fancy decorations because we’re too busy with the engineering side of things. Lunchtime is usually spent at our desks or sometimes we go out to one of the small shops nearby. Being near the cinema means there’s always a bit of excitement when a new movie comes out, but mostly we just stick to our routine. We’ve seen businesses come and go on Islampura Street, but we’ve stayed put. It’s a good location for us, even with the noise and the crowds. We just keep our heads down and get through the list of tasks for the day and hope the traffic isn't too bad when we leave.
