Uday Steel Industries

Uday Steel Industries is tucked away in Nairwadi, right behind the church on Kherani Road in Saki Naka. If you know the Saki Naka area, you know it’s always crowded and there’s always something going on. Our place is basically a steel workshop where we handle fabrication and various metal tasks. It’s a noisy environment with the sound of cutting and welding going on for most of the day. We don't have a fancy showroom. What you see is a working factory floor where we get things made. The guys have been working with steel for a long time, so they have a lot of experience even if they don't have big degrees. We focus on the orders we have and try to get them finished on time, which isn't always easy when the power goes out or supplies are late. Kherani Road is a tough place to navigate with a big truck, but we’ve managed to make it work for years. Being behind the church gives us a bit of a landmark for people who are coming to visit or pick up their steel parts. We don't use any fancy language to describe what we do. We just take raw steel and turn it into whatever the customer asked for. It’s heavy, dirty work, but it’s what we know. We’re just a local industry trying to keep things moving in Saki Naka day by day.
