Our spot is at Shop No: 1 & 2 in Vijay Nagar. It is right across from Shamshuddin Nagar on the Kurla Andheri Road. If you have ever driven through Jarimari, you know the traffic is something else. We deal with steel, so there is always a bit of heavy lifting going on. The shop is basically where we store everything and talk to people who need materials for their work. It’s a bit cramped with all the metal around, but we make it work. Usually, there is a lot of dust from the road outside, so we are always cleaning the counters. We are just a small team here, mostly focused on getting the orders ready for whoever stops by. It isn't a high-tech setup. We use old ledgers and a lot of patience. Sometimes the heat in Jarimari gets a bit much, but we have a fan that keeps us going. We’ve seen the neighborhood change quite a bit over the years. Most of our neighbors are also into some kind of trade, so it feels like a community. We don’t have a big fancy website or anything. We just open up in the morning and wait for the trucks to come in. It’s honest work and keeps us busy from Monday to Saturday. If someone needs a piece of steel, they just come in and ask. It's nothing fancy, just a couple of shops joined together to hold our inventory and serve the neighborhood.
