Our workshops are at Unit No-20 and 22 in the Jai Bharat Industries. It’s right across from the Virwani Industrial Estate in Goregaon East. If you’ve ever been to this part of Goregaon, you know it’s always buzzing with trucks and people moving crates. It’s a real industrial vibe here. We have two units because one just wasn't enough for all the machines and materials we have to keep on hand. It gets pretty loud once the machines start running in the morning. We all wear our boots and get to it. There’s usually metal shavings on the floor by noon, but we sweep up before heading home. It's hot work, especially in the summer months when the shed traps all that heat. We have some big fans, but they only do so much. We’ve been operating out of Jai Bharat for years now. Most of the other unit owners are friends of ours. We often borrow tools or help each other out with heavy lifting. It’s a tough environment but it’s honest work. We don't have a fancy showroom or a place to sit and have coffee. It’s all workbenches, heavy tools, and raw materials. People come to us when they need something manufactured or fabricated properly. We just put our heads down and get the orders done. It’s a gritty place, but we take pride in what we manage to build in these two units.
