Located at 116 P.D'Mello Road, right by the Carnac Bridge, our place is always right in the middle of the Mumbai bustle. Tubeweld India Ltd. has been operating out of this spot for years. The traffic outside never really stops, and you can hear the rumble of the trains nearby too. Our daily routine is pretty simple: we come in, open up the heavy doors, and start dealing with the tube and welding work. It’s heavy labor, and your hands are almost always dirty by ten in the morning. The air inside the shop is thick with the scent of metal and the occasional spark from a cutter. We don't have fancy brochures or a shiny reception area. Usually, you'll find us in the back or standing by the loading area talking to a driver. Being near the bridge makes it easy for people to find us, even if the parking is a total nightmare most of the time. We’ve seen the neighborhood change a lot, but the demand for good welding and solid metal tubes stays pretty much the same. We just focus on the task at hand, whether it’s a big order or something small for a walk-in client. It’s a bit of a grind, but there’s a satisfaction in seeing a truck loaded up and heading out. We’re just a bunch of regular people doing honest work in a busy part of the city. There isn't much else to it, really. We just show up and weld.
