Trivedi Steel & Engineers

You can find us on the ground floor of Devraj Mall, right in the R J D Textile Park in Dahisar. Being near the railway station makes it pretty easy for people to reach us, though the traffic around there is usually a mess. Trivedi Steel & Engineers has been around this area for a while now. We deal with a lot of steel parts and engineering supplies. It’s heavy work and the shop can get quite crowded with all the inventory we keep. We aren't a big factory; we’re more of a local supplier and service spot for the smaller shops around here. Sometimes the orders get backed up and we have to work late to get everything sorted. It’s just the way it is when you’re dealing with industrial stuff. My uncle started this place, and I took over most of the day-to-day things recently. We don't have a fancy showroom. It's mostly just shelves of metal and desks piled with blueprints and invoices. People come in with specific measurements, and we see what we can do to help them out. The noise from the trains is something you get used to after a week or two. We just try to provide what's needed for the local projects. It’s a straightforward business, really. We don't do much in the way of marketing because most of our regulars just drop in when they're passing by the station to get what they need.
