Travel Cool Cab

We’ve been running Travel Cool Cab for a while now right here on Annasandrapalya Main Road in Santacruz West. It’s a busy spot, you know how the traffic gets around here. We started with just a couple of cars because we saw people waiting in the heat way too long. It gets really hot in the afternoons and a regular rickshaw doesn't always cut it if you have bags or family with you. So we set this up to give folks a more comfortable way to get around. Most of our days are spent coordinating where the drivers are and making sure the ACs are actually working. That's the main thing people ask about anyway. We aren't a big tech company or anything like that. Just a local office where we keep the keys and take calls. Some days are slow and we just sit around the office on the main road, and other days the phone won't stop ringing. We know the shortcuts around Santacruz pretty well by now. If you've lived here, you know which lanes to avoid during school hours. We try to be on time, but Mumbai traffic is what it is. We just do our work and go home. People in the neighborhood know where to find us if they need a ride to the airport. There is a small tea stall just outside where our drivers usually hang out between trips. It’s a simple setup, nothing fancy, just some cars and people who know the roads.
