Transpower Switchgear Industries

Transpower Switchgear Industries is located over on Ram Joshi Marg, right near Nati Seva Sadan Road in Bhatwadi. It’s a quiet enough street compared to the main roads nearby. We deal with electrical switchgear and various components for power systems. The workshop is full of wires, copper strips, and metal casings waiting to be used. We spend a lot of time assembling parts by hand at the long wooden benches we built ourselves. It’s technical work but we’ve been doing it so long it feels natural now. I remember when we first moved into this space, it felt huge, but now it’s getting pretty full with all the stock. We have stacks of components waiting to be put together for the next batch of orders. Sometimes we have to hunt for a specific tool that someone walked off with. It’s a small group of us working here. We mostly supply to local contractors and small factories in the area who need reliable parts. We don't have a big marketing budget or anything like that. We just rely on the fact that we’ve been around for a while and people know our name. Usually, there’s a pot of tea on the stove in the back room. If someone comes in to talk about an order, we usually sit down right there amongst the parts. We try to be helpful when people have questions.
