Jeffson Battery Service

If you walk down the Link Road in Andheri West, near D N Nagar, you will find us at number 556. Jeffson Battery Service has been sitting in this spot for quite some time now. It is a very busy area with cars constantly zooming by and the sound of the metro overhead. My shop is basically full of batteries of all different shapes and sizes. I spend most of my day testing voltages or cleaning off the white corrosion that builds up on old wires. It is a lot of manual work and my clothes usually have a few small holes from the battery acid. I do not mind it much because it is what I know. People usually come in when they are in a bit of a panic because their vehicle is stuck nearby. I try to help them out as fast as I can. Sometimes the shop gets a bit cramped because we have so much stock piled up, but I know where everything is. It is just me and a small team here. We do not have a corporate office or a big reception desk with a phone. It is just a practical workspace where we get our hands dirty. Sometimes the heat from the road is a bit much, but we have a small fan that helps. I have seen this part of Andheri change a lot over the years, but the need for a good battery never goes away. I just keep the shop open.
