New Laxmi Batteries

We are located over in Bhandup West and New Laxmi Batteries has been here for a good while now. Mostly we deal with those heavy lead-acid batteries for cars and the big ones people use for their home inverters when the electricity goes out. It is a bit of a greasy job, to be honest. My hands are usually stained with something or other by the time I stop for lunch. The shop is filled with rows of black batteries stacked up on the floor and it is heavy work moving them around all day. My back definitely feels it. We get a lot of people from the neighborhood coming in because their car will not start in the morning. I usually have to tell them if it is just a loose wire or if the battery is finally dead. We do not have a flashy showroom, just a simple space with a counter and some charging machines humming in the back. The noise from the road is constant, but that is just how Bhandup is. Sometimes it gets really busy during the rainy season when the power cuts happen more often and everyone wants their inverter checked. I just take things as they come. It is not a complicated business, it is just about making sure people have power when they need it. I have a couple of guys who help with the deliveries because these units are too heavy for one person. We just keep going.
