Tarapur Transformers Ltd

Our office is situated in Malad West, inside the Raheja Metroplex on Link Road, specifically in units 201 to 204. It is a modern building, but we are still a very grounded business. We work with transformers, which are big, heavy things that most people never think about until the power goes out. Dealing with Tarapur Transformers means a lot of paperwork and technical specifications. We have several people here who spend their whole day looking at spreadsheets and talking to engineers. The Link Road traffic is always a bit of a nightmare, so we usually get in early to avoid the worst of it. The office is bright and has plenty of windows, which is nice when you are stuck inside all day. We handle everything from the initial design to the final delivery of these big units. It is a lot of coordination. Sometimes things go wrong at the factory and we have to spend hours on the phone fixing the schedule. We are not a retail shop, so we do not get many walk-in visitors. Most of our work is done through emails and long-distance calls. We have been in this Malad office for some time and it suits us well. It is a professional environment but we are all pretty relaxed and just focus on getting the transformers out of the gate on time. (246 words)
