Toshiba Tubes

Our place is located at Andheri 21/23. It is a small address but we manage to fit a surprising amount of inventory inside. We handle Toshiba Tubes, which basically means we have long crates and pieces of metal stacked up all over the shop. Mumbai is a crowded city and this section of Andheri is no different from the rest. You can hear the trains and the cars from our front door from morning until night. It gets very noisy. We have been working out of this particular spot for a long time. The walls probably need a fresh coat of paint by now, but we stay too busy to actually do it. Most of the day is spent checking what we have in stock and talking to delivery drivers who are always in a big hurry. We do not have a marketing team or anyone like that. It is just us here. We keep a stash of biscuits and a kettle for making tea in the back corner. When a customer comes in looking for a specific tube size, we usually have to go digging through the stacks to find it. Sometimes that takes a few minutes. We aren't trying to be a fancy retail outlet. We just supply the parts that people need for their specific jobs. The concrete floor stays cool even when it is hot outside. We write everything down in big paper registers because it works for us. We just keep our heads down and do what needs doing.
