Tirupati Steel India is located at 3 5Th Kumbharwada on the ground floor of the Ramji Building, number 130. If you know the Kumbharwada area, you know how packed and noisy it gets with all the industrial work going on. Our space is right in the middle of all that action. We deal with all sorts of steel products, mostly for local builders and small manufacturing units. The ground floor of Ramji Building is usually humming with the sound of machinery and people shouting over the din of the street. It’s a lot of manual labor, moving heavy beams and plates from one side of the room to the other. We don’t have much in the way of decoration here. The walls are mostly bare and there is a thick layer of iron dust on almost everything. But that is just the nature of the steel business. We spend our days checking gauges and writing down measurements for different orders. It’s not a place for someone who doesn't want to get their clothes a bit dirty. Most of our regular customers have been coming to this same spot for years. They know we are here and they know how we work. We don't use any fancy computer systems for everything, just some old ledgers and a lot of memory. It is honest work and we have been doing it this way for as long as I can remember.
